TV3’s Natalie Fort has been awarded the Emerging TV Personality of the Year at the 5th Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards, the event was held at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on April 27th 2019.
In attendance was the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Mrs. Cynthia Morrision who handed what stands as Natalie’s third award and fourth nomination throughout her three year career to her. Natalie’s award win was announced by host of the 5th Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards and Business News Journalist with GHOne Television, Kweku Temeng who was formerly with TV3 Network Limited.
In 2016, Kweku Temeng hosted the Miss Earth Ghana Pageant of the 1st Royal Events Limited alongside Natalie Fort at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel, during which he spotted Natalie could shine as a News Anchor. After encouraging Natalie to audition for a News Anchor role with TV3, she was subsequently employed at the company a week after, joining Kweku Temeng and other leading News Personalities.
At age 20, Natalie was made an Anchor of TV3’s News in Brief bulletin, and soon after the Anchor for the Business segment on TV3’s Newday morning show. In a matter of months, she was made the Anchor for the weekend edition of News 360. Today Natalie Fort stands as the female face of News 360 every weekday, alongside award winning Broadcast Journalist, Alfred Ocansey. Together they host what stands as Ghana’s number one news bulletin.
Natalie Fort was accompanied by her mother and Manager, Sika Twum to collect the award; she was awarded by leading dedicated international journal, the Business Executive for her considerable achievements in the Media landscape in Ghana over the past three years.
